There will be a new generation of Panasonic VIERA TVs with a USB port that will start to ship about now. These TVs will have a built-in driver for WNDA3100. These new Panasonic TVs will allow customers to stream internet sourced video content directly to the TV via a home network. We are the only vendor that Panasonic is recommending and supporting, other than recommending their own Panasonic USB dongle. One of the reasons why Panasonic chose WNDA3100 is that it can operate at either of the 802.11n standard frequencies: 5GHz or 2.4GHZ. The 5GHZ band provides smoother transmission of video signals so it is the preferred frequency to use in TV applications.
